Historical Merchant Placement Terms

Proposed offer
The proposed offer is one exclusive local_retailer advertising slot for one exact five-digit U.S. ZIP code across the BarSight surfaces listed in the reservation. The proposed one-time price is $6.00 USD for six calendar months beginning at activation. The offer does not renew automatically.
The reservation does not convey ownership of a ZIP code, a customer list, a franchise territory, control over organic recommendations, or exclusivity over other advertising products. Nonpaying competitors may remain in organic results.
Review and activation
Payment does not guarantee activation. Activation would require current merchant and license review, an effective jurisdiction policy, exact ZIP eligibility, approved creative and disclosures, and every promised BarSight surface to be ready. A reservation is not an active campaign.
The proposed activation deadline is 30 calendar days after successful payment. If activation has not occurred by that deadline, Barsight proposes to initiate a full refund automatically.
Cancellation and refunds
Before activation, the proposed policy permits cancellation for a full refund. If the placement is not activated by the proposed 30-day deadline, Barsight proposes to initiate a full refund, without deducting payment processing fees or substituting account credit. A submitted refund remains pending until the payment provider confirms its completion.
Post-activation suspension, cancellation, and refund treatment require a separately reviewed final policy.
Placement limits and measurement
A placement would display a clear “Advertisement · Paid placement by [Retailer]” disclosure. Payment does not buy organic ranking or guarantee impressions, customer visits, leads, sales, recipe clicks, inventory, store hours, delivery, or product availability.
Barsight proposes to display only measured aggregate traffic. If traffic has not been measured, it will be labeled “Not measured yet.”
Merchant information and review
The merchant would provide accurate legal business, public store, ownership, funding, and license information and would report material changes. Merchant approval alone does not approve a creative, ZIP, jurisdiction, surface, or campaign. Changes to reviewed information or creative may require a new review.
Submitted content and rights
By submitting product names, descriptions, photographs, image links, logos, or other materials, the merchant would represent that it owns the material or has permission to submit it and authorize Barsight to review, reproduce, display, and distribute it as needed to operate and promote the catalog and merchant services. The merchant would not submit material that infringes another person’s rights. Barsight may reject, remove, or disable access to submitted material after a rights complaint or review. Payment and renewals
The proposed $6.00 price is the total stated offer price. Tax treatment and final receipt requirements remain under review. No subscription, automatic renewal, or future purchase is created by this offer.
